Note:
Mt. Bachelor is a dormant volcano with a base elevation of 6,470 ft. If you are traveling from anywhere but Colorado: Please remember to hydrate frequently, wear sunscreen, and bring sunglasses. Mountain weather can change quickly, so we recommend packing layers for a comfortable evening.

Logistics for the Weekend
Getting to Bend, Oregon:
  • We recommend Redmond airport (20 minute drive to Bend). Look early for flights!
  • Eugene airport (2.5 hour drive to Bend)
  • Portland airport (3 hour drive to Bend)
Lodging in Bend, Oregon:
  • We have a hotel block at the Residence Inn by Marriott Bend, please use the link below to reserve your room:

  • There are many Airbnb & VRBO options in Bend if you prefer not to use our hotel block.
  • Sunriver (25 minute drive to Bend) and Sisters (30 min drive to Bend) are other popular places to stay in Central Oregon, but we recommend having a rental car if you book lodging in these towns.
  • There is no lodging at Mt. Bachelor
Getting around Bend, OR:
  • We will provide a shuttle to and from the hotel to Mt. Bachelor for the wedding ceremony and reception. Stay tuned for details.
  • From Redmond airport, you can Uber, Lyft, EnviroShuttle, or rent a car to get to Bend.
  • From Eugene or Portland airports, there are bus lines, but we recommend renting a car.
  • The hotel block will be walking distance to many fun activities and good restaurants.
  • Bend Transit to Trails provides shuttle access to some great hiking trails.
  • We recommend renting a car if you plan on a longer vacation. Central Oregon has amazing hiking, rafting, mountain biking, hot springs, and golf courses. It is worth exploring the desert and the mountains, Bend is a wonderful place to visit!
