We met at the beloved Franky Cabin in the White Mountain National Forest on a leadership training trip with the New Hampshire Outing Club in 2013. We continued to run into each other at various UNH parties and connected over hiking in the Green Mountains, skiing at Stratton Mountain, a love of science and nature, and listening to WEQX radio, The Real Alternative, which broadcasted in our respective hometowns. The following February, drinking PBRs and watching Supertroopers during a wild New Hampshire blizzard, we decided to make it official!

Since then, we have had lots of adventures. In 2017, after graduating from UNH, we moved across the country to Oregon and started our careers in forestry and GIS. We attended some fun concerts, sampled many craft beers, ate many pints of ice cream, roadtripped, camped, hiked, backpacked, and both downhill and cross-country skied throughout the West Coast and Canada, often times with the company of our wonderful friends and family. From epic powder days at Mt. Bachelor to lazy days at home, we love each other and our life together in Oregon!

In May 2024, we took a trip to Switzerland to visit friends, hike, sightsee, and eat fondue. On a trip to Lauterbrunnen in the Swiss Alps, Cullen found a beautiful glacier view, got down on one knee, and popped the question, and of course Meg said β€œYES!”.

A few months after the our engagement, we relocated to Bend, OR, the mountain town of our dreams. We welcomed Cabot, a silly little American Eskimo puppy, into our family. We look forward to celebrating our decade of love with everyone who has supported us and the many more years of good times to come!
